Hi, my name is Jake and my best friend and brother-in-law have RX-7's.
My BIL and I are taking an 84 GSL SE back to street form after some kid decided he wanted a race car and gave up on it. The car sat for 5 years and my BIL purchased it about 2 weeks ago. The car has an Aktins Rotary 13b non-turbo and Racing Beat Exhaust/Suspension, which we figured made it worth buying despite the lack of AC, power steering, oil metering pump and for that matter, tires.
The engine runs great although it feels like the fuel is cutting out, the suspension is really good as well.
Also the car is straight as an arrow and has zero rust.
I drive an 07 S2000, though I occasionally wonder if I should have bought a 2nd or 3rd Gen. I've been a fan of the 2nd gen for as long as I can remember.
Anyway, nice to be here. If you have 84-85 SE parts, I'll probably come calling.
