Live in Tx panhandle, name is Bill. Nephew has been racing spec 7 for 4/5 years and have done many track-days with him and the spec 7 crew. Had great time and want to join in to increase driving skills. Had been doing track-days in panoz, need something less expensive to run and after driving the spec 7, looks like the one! Looks like alot of good info..thanks.

Mike, this car is the gr-ra(225hp). The GTS is the real one (450+)hp. There are approx 65+ running, mostly in east and west coast and south east. Automotive Forum as an active group, with a true guru, in NZ. They are great handling cars with great brakes. I'm 50 miles east of Amarillo, Tx next one is in Albuquerque, Nm, then Dallas, Houston. thanks Bill

 

Although I only have a stock 79, I started to race mine in a couple autocross events. They are such great cars to race.

 

Gary, The spec 7 cars are totally stock, except for roll cage, kill switch, seat belts, no mods are allowed and they move well.. good luck on the auto cross, Bill...TX
