Another MI boy
My name is Nick and I'm going to college studying mechanical engineering. I hope to pick a FC very soon to have something to do other than study. Come spring I hope to do some matter of v8 swap, while keeping it very clean.
I currently drive a near 300hp saturn (ion redline). So, I would like to keep the tradition of leaving people clueless going with a v8 RX.

I'm from Michigan, too. I've had an FD for about 10 years now. I can understand why you'd want to swap...the stock twin turbos on the FD are a bitch to work on! Not sure about the FC, but the FD is not fun!
Michigan folks - In Waterford with my GSL-SE that I've had since 1997!! Picture taken on 12/18/2012. I'd cry if someone went and put a V8 in this....

Multiple people have told me that they won't allow me to do an LS swap until I've owned a rotary powered RX for at least a month. Way of earning my stripes I guess.
In my perfect world all FD chasis (plural form?) would be powered by 20Bs running single turbos.
I feel it's fitting for an FC to have a v8 in it. I think of FD vs FC as body builder versus a gymnast scenario. The FCs wedge shape is bulkier and doesn't try to conceal anything, while the FD is sculpted but given proper treatment could destroy most things on the road.
