Hello,My Name is Ramon.
I have had 3 RX7s in my RX life.
The first was a 1988 RX7 N/A with a sunroof (2006-2008). It was a lot of fun to drive and have.
I traded it away when I got a 1991 RX7 Carb'd(2008-2009) and a 1987 RX7 TII(2008-Current). The 91' ran alright, but the carburetor was finicky. The 87 motor needed a replacement. I drove the carburetor until it one of the differential mounting nuts flew off stripping all of the threads. At which point I traded it for a Microtech Standalone ECU with Harness. I think overall the best part of the carburetor was mistuning could lead to flames coming out of the exhaust, each time you would shift. It was a sight to see and a message to tailgaters.
I currently still have the 87'.
