New to site and a new FD.
Hey guys,
My names Nathan, im from Adelaide, Australia.
Ive had my eye on an rx7 for a good 10 years now, and ive finally managed to purchase one!
was looking at getting a series 8, and turned out i got my hands on a pure white 2002 series 8 Type R Bathurst. I'm the first registered owner in AUS.
It was fairly cheap as it had high k's (140,000) and i was planning on doing a rebuild straight up.
However it was claimed to have had a rebuild in Japan. A comp test showed both front and rear rotors had 120. So im happy with that and will prob just drive it till it pops. :P (still planning on doing some reliability mobs straight away tho).
So the FD will just be a weekend car from now on, its obviously had a hard life in Japan!.. ive got a 04 Subaru wrx that i have as a daily.
Looking forward to finding some good information on this forum, and hopefully able to contribute a little from time to time also.
ive included some pics of the fd.
Cheers,
Nathan
