I'll try to get a couple up here soon, but she is in some rough shape. To help the visualizing in the meantime, it is a silver '85 with the maroon interior. Thanks to a leak in the sunroof plate seal, there is a lot of interior damage (even moss growing in rear deck carpet). Long-term restore and almost all parts needed, no doubt.

Already have it on jackstands for now, but threw a factory wheel back on for visual effect.

Looks like a really solid start. You might be able to salvage some of the interior with a bit of cleaning. Excited to see where you go with it.

Welcome, Ryan!
Congrats on picking up the ’85 GSL—that’s a great project car. What kind of plans do you have for it—restoration, mods, or just getting it running and enjoying the drive?

Hey, thanks man. As of right now, it is all about stripping and rust repair. It's gonna take a fair amount of metal work. Then it will be a custom restoration of interior, vacuum system delete, electric fan and waterpump, then maybe a full engine rebuild with light port and holley carb swap for blowthrough at 8psi, and I am gonna drive this thing till it explodes on me. Then maybe rebuild it and drive it more...
