Darryl,

Thanks for the heads up! I will be looking to get out and meet some fellow enthousiasts over the summer. The car is new to me, and I'm pretty excited to get involved in the community. I have had years of modding with my MX-3's but this car is in a completely different league. I will be sure to keep your name in mind if I have any questions.

Where do you run the track days? Mosport Speedway? I would love to be able to put the car through the paces in a safe and legal environment.

Take care,

Steve

So how many people got hit by the storms this past weekend? We got about 8" of fresh powder between Sunday and Monday. Looks like the car won't be on the road for a few weeks now.

I headed down to Moab Utah for a week of off roading and the weather down here is warm and sunny. I can't wait to get home and for things to warm up.

So who else is itching to get their cars out?

I heard you guys got a bit more of the white stuff up there....you're not even that far away. In Mississauga we got about 1/2" and it disappeared the next day. Some of our cars have been out already.

Track days generally take place at Mosport, Dunnville and Cayuga....you'll have a blast. Come talk to some Canadian members on the Canadian forum. The meet in May is the new buzz these days....May 17th at 2PM at Sherway Gardens (Hwy 427 and Queensway in Mississauga)

Have fun offroading....hopefully not in the RX7........j/k

Yea thats what I heard too. Toronto area always seems to get it better than we do! Coming through Denver Colorado they actually closed the interstate because the visibility was so bad...We were following a semi that was literally driving sideways down the road. I guess when the wind is that strong is a good time to grab a hotel room haha.

Track days sound like a blast. Hopefully it will help me resist the urge to roll on it on the highway. I've barely even got this car out of 3rd gear on my road and it felt like it pulled like my CBR.

As for the offroading, the FD is safe...We've got a 4 door rubicon with 4" superlift, 35" Mickey Thompsons, Ripp Mods supercharger and this thing seems to go just about anywhere.

I'll post some pictures up when I'm back home and get a chance. Once in lifetime opportunity for sure.
