TX New RX7 Owner

81 RX7 AT w/ 119,700 miles on it.

Hello all. Just bought this beaut today for a whopping $700. Runs great when warm. I'll have to look into the carb as it stumbles when accelerating at start up, but I'm looking forward to owning this car after finding this site and seeing all it has to offer. Can't wait to clean this baby up.

Exterior looks great for the age of the car man. Can't knock the price.

Well, my future with this RX-7 isn't looking as bountiful. I bought the car because I thought the tranny on my Ford Festiva died. Turns out that it's not the case and it just needs a new cv axle. Wife won't let me keep 2 cars and if I got rid of the Festiva I'd have nightmares as a Festiva was my first car so it has a special place in my heart. Unfortunately it looks like I'll be putting the RX-7 back up on Craigslist once I get the Festy running. Tis unfortunate.
