Question New rx-7 within a week

Hello all. I just thought id get one post in. I am in the market for an rx-7. I found about 4 that i will be looking at in the next week or so.. 2 FCs (87 t2's) and 2 FDs(both 93). I dont know which one ill be getting but im leaning more towards the FCs. One of the FDs isnt running and her owner doesnt know why. So it might be a blessing in disguised but i dont want to pay 9k for a car that doesnt run. But im sure i can talk the guy down. The two FCs are in great shape, but they both need a tune done to them. And the last FD is running well and looks really good. The prices range from 6k to 10k so i dont know whats good. Both FC are in the 6k ballpark and have a lot of things done to them. Both cars have freshly rebuilt engines and lots of upgraded parts and they both are claiming 300+ to the wheels with a current dyno tune. The FD that runs is 9.9k. Are these good deals? I can post pictures and info about them if you need more to help me decide if its a good buy or not. Thanks in advance and im looking forward to everyones advice and to my soon to be RX-7

my family owned an FD for less than a year. it was my dream car but in the end proved to be too unreliable and expensive for its practicality. wells thats just it, its not practical. so its whatever your looking for. im in the market right now for an FC, but even though i've never driven one before, i can gaurentee it won't give you the rush an FD does.

i am pretty sure that, if you do all the scheduled maintenance and do the reliability mods first before you go ***** out on performance, the FD can be a reliable car.

what do i know, that is only what i have read on this board.

I agree. RX-7s just don't look like anything else. I'm working on getting an FC soon. Unfortunately, there are none close to me, so I have to get on shipped here. Sucks, but it'll be worth it. I can't wait to get it.

Personally I prefer the FDs.... It sounds like they need a lot of attention but if you ask me its worth it.
