94 fd owner

well i got to japan in apr and finally bought me an FD after searching for months for the right one. its a 94 type R efini 5 speed, with mods in sig. soo far this site has been of huge help and i cant wait to learn more. BTW i am planning on bringing this car back with me to the states.

sweet action! i guess you are in the military? my bud brought his wrx back for little or no money when he moved back from overseas. i can't remember if he had to pay or not. but that will be awesome over here. congrats on the find.

If you plan on bringing it back, my buddy was able to register his RHD rx-7 in Texas by basically doing the same thing kit cars do. Register it as an assembled vehicle, his car is titled as a "2007 ASVE" because of the year he registered it. Pretty cool stuff. To do it though, he personally went to a Police Auto Auction Inspection, and they inspected the car for stolen parts and matching VINs, that is how he started the process.
