New to the Rotary world but a Mazda Veteran
Hi Guys,
I am about to buy my first RX-7 a 1993 FD with 68,000 miles on the original motor. The car appears to be in great condition, but we see what happens when I get a hold of it.
I have been a Mazda owner and mechanic for a while. I currently have a 1999 Mazda Miata 10 ae which is prepared for CSP and I use for auto-x. Love the car but I am moving to CA and I am ready for a something with a little bit more power.
The guy selling me the FD is very wary about me taking the car to get the compression checked. He says he doesn't trust mechanics with the rotary. Do you think I need to be concerned or should to car be ok with only 68k miles?
I have read through the other threads and I don't think I saw any oil in the coolant or vice versa
