Talking First time Rotary Owner [REPU], Long time Mazda Enthusiast [MS6]

Hi everyone,

You may be seeing a little more of me in the coming months. I've been a regular at Mazdas247 for about 8 years. I've purchased new from dealer a 2003 Mazda Protege5 and a 2006 Mazdaspeed6. I still have the MS6 but now I'm also the proud owner of a 1975 Mazda REPU.

I've poked around on the REPU board but when it comes to rotary questions, my internet searches keep landing me here. Whatever I can't obtain from the REPU guys I'll probably research and/or post here.

A little bit about my new ride:
* Complete frame off restoration by previous owner (Gary in California)
* 4-port 13B motor, stock with only 500 miles on it
* Stock 4 speed transmission
* Racing beat header/pre-silencer/muffler
* Coilover suspension
* 16x8" rims (Not a big fan of them so I'll probably change these)
* Custom white/orange interior

What needs work:
* Exhaust is a little bit loud for long trips
* Heater doesn't work (planning to get that operational)
* Radio doesn't work (planning a full sound system)
* Other do-dads don't work like dash lights and stuff
* Clutch is losing pressure, may need new master cylinder

Long term:
* Under the hood detailing (could use a little chrome and paint)
* Alternator upgrade for additional electronics
* A/C would be nice, may have to source original dealer add-on.
* The thought of using it to tow a small camper or popup has crossed my mind. Not sure it has the power to pull anything larger.
* Street port + RB Holly intake. No sense in pulling apart a perfectly good engine, but some day I will get this done....but I'm not sure whether a port would ruin its towing capabilities.
