New rotary owner.. here i am!!

Hi everybody, to let you guys know i'm a big mazda fan, had miatas and proteges. But never a 7.. well since i got myself into rotary side by reading, watching, and more.. i knew all i wanted next was a classic 7 with rotary power.

Yesterday at 11 am bought my S22C 79' rx7 with 108k. clean title, Needs some work of course but i couldn't go wrong for $1,200. I will upload some pic tomorrow. SO glad to have mine already!! i love its power and the backfires when i shift!!!!

Thx guys! The engine runs very strong.. carb seems to be working good. But a will get NGK sparks plugs & wires, air flter, and a change f oil to make her run better.

Btw any particular NGK plugs and wires for my car? what about oil? About air filter i'm thinking about removing the blue snorkel and getting a K&N style high flow

Yeah i know NGK works great for mazdas. A question tho.. when i run my car i smell a lot of gas.. and if i warm it up for like 3 minutes and go WOT ( up to 3k tho) the car dies.. no i have to step on the gas little by little. What can this be??

for plugs there's probably some that run the BR8(or9)EQ-14 as i do. the carb could probably use a rebuilding, maybe just some adjustment, depending on how long it had been sitting when u bought it.
