GA New future fbrx7 owner in GA

hey yall, my name i bruce and i live in georgia.

my neighbor said he would sell his fbrx7 to me. so im in the process of savin up.
its the one with drum brakes in the rear. i understand that is the less desirable one but he also has a whole rear end from the model with the limited slip and disk brakes.

can someone clear up those 2 different models for this noob?

thanks!

Looks to be a GS or Base with the Drum Rears... This is a good thing because they also came with a more basic stereo and manual windows... (Less weight)

And I wouldn't overlook the drum axle rear either... It weighs less too.

But the Disc rear may be from a GSL or GSL-SE. You can tell the difference just by looking at the following:

The GSL-SE will have four studs sticking out for the wheels.
The GSL will have four holes for wheel bolts.

The GSL-SE will have vented rear brake discs.
The GSL will have solid iron discs.

What year is your car? That also may make it more difficult to put this rear end in.
