New rotary owner form Austria
Hi everyone,
My name is Benjamin, 20 y.o. and I come from Austria, near Linz to be exact.
The car is a blue metallic '83 FB, that I've coincidentally bought on 7's day (a good omen I'm hoping). It's a good combination between having many things to sort out and not being a total wreck - at least it's not a total rust bucket.
Since I've finally got a rotary, I thought this would be a nice place to start gathering technical knowledge. I'm not totally new to wrenching on cars, but this is the first time I'm dipping my toes into rotaries and modifying cars.
The 500km drive home went well, except a snapped alternator belt, but after fixing this I've managed to knock off the OMP lines and while figuring that out, I've probably clogged up the carb.
Im looking forward to venture into rotaries and hopefully meet everyone.
Here are some pics (hopefully posting them works)
