New to rotary
So not new to car scene, but new to rotary engine. Back ground always had Hondas back in the mid 90's when the import scene was starting.. drag racing, engine swaps etc etc.. then got into Toyota and Nissans.. This will be my first Mazda 94 rx7 base model.. Always stayed away from Mazda rotary engines because of the reliability but always liked the shape of the FDs.. So I pulled the trigger on getting one.. Anyways looking forward to this group and learn the ins and outs of what to look for and how to care for it.. Car already have a few engine mods and seems drives fine, but with known issues such as inop gauge clusters and door handle which will be my main focus. Done a few searches prior to joining the club. so hoping to seek more knowledge..

I'm just a little north of Greensboro, so if you're ever riding around the Friendly shopping center or over on 73 and see a MB FD it could be me. Stop in a say hi in the South East region of the Forum if you haven't, oh and start preparing your car for Deals Gap Rotary Rally(DGRR) since you only have around 9-10 months before here again.

this is true.. every car I ever owned 12+ in the 23yrs I been driving has always been to modify lol whether it be new or used.. I would probably be pretty bored if it wasn't for this hobby... to answer your question its full black interior..
the drug addiction...

So i figure why not take it apart to see what the deal is with this cluster.. found these groupings bleadout and some corrosion 😩 .. seems like its concentrated in this little area .. my electronic skills are next to nothing .. wonder if its best to just go with speedhut gauges then attempting to repair these
another note, can anyone tell me if all the guages are independent from one another?
