Hi all my name is Scott. A few years ago i bought my first rx7, a 93 twin turbo, from a shady *** dealer. Ever since ive had problems with this car blown engines due to metal shavings in the gas tank was his excuse. I had the engine replaced with a 99 JDM spec. When i finally got the car back , big surprise from a shady dealer, the exhaust was smoking on all cold starts. " Oh that will get better over time he says" lol all that happened was it progressively got worse. Now its a freight train in the mornings looks like white smoke but no coolant smell. And i would rather not take this car to any dealer to work on again, any help you gentelmen can provide would be much appreciated but since this is just an intro thread im gonna cut it short and post in the technical sections later. Thanks and nice to meet you guys.

Whoever "he" is, must have never heard of a fuel filter. Sounds like they're jerks, liars, and stupid all at once. Good luck to ya...

Agreed my family had him do minor elecrtical work like fix a electric window or tighten a serpentine belt on my grandmas honda for that he used a zip tie on the alternator. As for the window there was another electrical short in it within a month. So everyone in my area knows if you run into Mike Simpson dont let him do any work on your vehicle rotary or otherwise.
