New owner to a really nice old RX-7!
Greetings!
I am a new RX-7 owner. Immaculate 1986...all original with 59k original miles. The owner had everything to include the welcome letter from Mazda from 1986. Arizona car so no rust, and you can tell the car has been garaged.
Just bought it at sunset, so these are the only pictures I have, but more will follow.
The car is in EXCELLENT condition and I am even reluctant to change out the orginal radio and tape deck in it.
I am excited to have this as a daily driver.
I'll be on this webpage lots to learn about the car and other RX-7s.
-Matt

Better pix of the new baby!
Hello All,
Here are the better pictures now that the sun is up.
I drove it around all day and could not be happier. What a fun care to drive. This car was obviously babied. Less than 60k miles and it drives like it is brand new!

Love the car!
One week later and this car is just more and more fun. I really love the way it rides. First gas fill up and it looks like I'm getting around 20mpg, so that is a refreshing change from my truck!
I still have not decided about replacing the radio yet. The car is 100% original and in such clean perfect working condition. I am leaning to keeping the old radio. It works, it keeps the car stock, and I only drive about 30 minutes a day anyway.
I do have one question so far. Any of you use the K&N air filter in the FC, or how about the filter charger kit? I would like to keep the engine stock so would rather just get the drop in filter unless the filter charger kit brings sizable power and mileage improvements.
Thanks,
Matt
And oh yeah I'm driving to Prescott next week!

Yeah, agree with all of you. Gonna keep it stock.
Now just need to find the one missing button for the tape deck. I dont have any tapes, but I would love the dash to look just like the day it did when it rolled of the line!
