New owner from Montreal . "Rotorless" 1989 RX7 TII.
New on the site , I bought this RX7 Oct 2009 in Long Island New York and drove it back home.
I'm in love with the car.
Some people will hate me because the the Rotary engine has been ditched and replaced by a forged LT1 Corvette motor & a T56 6 speed transmission.
I never test drove a Rotary powered RX7 but I can tell you this car is very fun to drive and looks like it is very reliable ( so far ) .
I'm the 4th owner since the swap has been done ( about 5 to 7 years ago ) much of the bugs has been fixed since then.
The car need a paint job but the car is fully drivable.I have over 25+ hours of driving since I got it.
I've been reading on this site for a little while and there is tons of good informations , links , etc.
Anyway here's the specifications & pictures of my ride :

With the exchange rate , taxe , duty , inspection and all the fees to bring it to Canada and have it legal here I'm at $7100.00 CDN.
The car needs a paint job and some TLC so my guess I'll have to put back around $4000.00 CDN to have the car at my standard.
I had lot of car during my life and this one is the most fun car to drive yet.

Wow, I just joined with my LT1 88 TII. Yours actually looks better and you paid less than I did. I suppose I could post up my video too. I didn't think the v8 part would be taken well on here. Check out my intro if you got a sec.
