Names David from the inland empire. Got myself a 90 fc3s NA for now.

Only mods done to it are a set of rims and a set of coils.

Rims are advan RG 1s

And a set of HKS hipermax Ds

So far everything's coming along well with it and I have some good plans for it.

Want to make it a daily that I could track if I wanted to.

Hope to boost it eventually get it caged and just little details here and there to set it off nice.

Hope to have you guys involved with my build along the way.

First issue with my FC!

Seems like my clutch master cylinder went out on me today.

I was in line waiting to get into a parking lot and all of a sudden I couldn't go into gear for ****.

Gunna replace it tomorrow and see if it solves my issue ha.

Got my fc in April and its the best decision I ever made

 

Changed my transmission out along with a throwout bearing and now it grinds when I try to go into gear.

Also my idle is bouncing when It never did before.

Anyone know what I could check for?

You sure it's a '90 or does it just have an s5 bumper and other s5 bits?

I used to have an identical FC to yours and loved it. I actually blew the engine and had no clue about rotaries back then and sold it. Bad mistake... Have fun with that thing and don't let it go!

Already having some issues with it haha.


My throwout bearing took a crap on me so I went and replaced it and when the tranny was out I thought it was a good time to replace it with another one I had that I thought was in better condition. Now I swapped everything back together and it grinds when I try to throw it into gear. Like the pressure plate isn't being disengaged enough. I bought a new master and slave cylinder also. Any ideas or what I could check for? Bad syncros?

It shifts fine when the car is off too.
