New old school young'n but not an Rx7 in my driveway

hey guys. new member here from Atlanta. i drive a 1981 corolla wagon slammed on some 14's. ive been tossing around the idea of doing a rotary swap so i figgured id get on the boards. ive already got the mounts. now all i need is a 12a to motivate me haha. dont really have a career, but i help out part time at my local old school shop, garaze zero, located out of auburn. ive also got a series one, SA. a 78 to be exact. threw me off cause i thought they first produced the 7s in 79 but the vin dont lie. but it is being parted out. here are some pics of the wagon

some things i forgot to mention in my haze of posting last night. the car has a pushrod 1.6 litre 2-TC motor with a T50 5 speed transmission (swap done by garaze zero) with a webber carb. soon to bed dual webbers with a nice cam. anybody that knows toyota's knows that T-series motors are abosulte tourqe beasts. and yes...its RWD for those who dont know

yea sometimes it seems that way. especially being on the east coast. people havent really learned of the true value of the old toyota's yet so you can still find the old guy that has one in his yard that will sell for cheap. our shop has recently done a 5mge swap (celica supra motor) in one, and is currently working on the shop car, a 77 GT lift back with a turbo volvo 940 swap, on mega squirt. you arent too far out from atlanta man. you should come down to some of our old school meets.
