WA New naturally aspirated FD

Hello everyone

I have been on the forum for a while but never really posted anything.

I bought my FD about a year ago, it was a red on tan 5 speed with 104K on the clock that had been converted to a rich mans non-sequential setup, the engine had been rebuilt 17k ago with Mazda 3mm apex seals and some light port work. other than the above and a down pipe, cat back set up the car was stock.

A couple of months later the stock twins started to die, spitting oil into the intake.
I thought no big deal, time to go single.
I am a welder/fabricator and had decided to make my own turbo manifold and v-mount. but I never got that far...
I removed the twins, intake pluming, and radiator. then bought a turbonetics 62-1 with 96A/R hot side, a intercooler that i would modify for the v-mount, a AEM wideband and boost controller.

After that... well, lets just say that a few investments went south and no longer had the funding to proceed with putting the car back together.
so a few months go by and it started making my sick seeing the car sit. I needed to put it back together with very little money. every set of stock twins that i could find where junk, so i started thinking... why turbo? all i need right now is for the car to run and drive.

I found a used racing beat FC street header for next to nothing. I couldn't believe it but it fit perfect except the midpipe connection on the header is a tad to small but in the right spot, so open header for the moment. I plugged the oil and coolant feed lines for the turbos, made block off plates for the oil return ports, rerouted the vacuum lines, installed the header and today it started right up. very loud but as far as I could tell it ran perfect.
At work this week I'm going to make a new mid pipe with some 3" 304ss and a straight through muffler that I had in my shop.

I will post some pics tomorrow.
