New Member, wanting a RX7
Hey guys, brand new to the forum. I have ALWAYS been a big classic muscle guy. Ive owned a
1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo
1971 Buick Skylark
1987 Buick Grand National
And they've all ha big boasting V8s!
But now i'm selling my buick because I can't keep up on expenses that are arising with it...I bought it for 6500 and now I have a guy who wants to buy it for 17,000! I will sell it, but what next? I'm starting to get into tuner cars. And I am absolutely falling in love with 3rd generation RX7's! So I've been looking around online and found a nice one for around 11 grand that looks fantastic. My buick will sell in the next two weeks and then I want to go look at that. Anyway I'm just kind of worried about the huge change between car types. I always deal with carburetor's and good mechanized engines. Not fuel injection and ecu's..I've learned so much about these cars but there would be a big learning period for me and these cars. Do you guys think its worth it? What are your thoughts?
Thanks---Erik

Welcome Erik. That is quite the stable of cars you have.
If you think that you will come out of that Deal with Profit..think again..lol!
The Japanese built a Money Sucking Device into the Rx7 that functions VERY well!..
That is why most of us are broke and can only post on the forum. We don't have gas money..hahha!
With those words of encouragement I wish you the best if you get a FD!.I am sure you will love it though!

haha well i'm hoping I'll still have some money left over for some of the things i'd like to do to the car. But the gas situation, the grand national I have now has a 383 stroker V8, and its getting about 9 mpg, so hopefully the rx7 would be a little better than that! haha but thank you
