Hi Everybody, little intro here, names Dan and while I'm new to this site I'm not new to Rotaries scene having previously owned a 12a powered R100 and a 13b RX2.
Thought I was done with cars when a 1983 gs came my way and I just couldn't resist.
It's powered by a R.R.R Killer Bee package which is a large port s5 13b, Mikuni carb. and high pressure oil system. There is a light flywheel and center force clutch. Big sway bars front and rear and15" Weds Bavarian wheels shod with Yokohama rubber.
Exhaust runs through a Header into a Prima flow twin pipe to the muffler.
Car has 117'000 kms[60'00+mls] and about 25'000 on the motor. It pulls really hard to 8000 and starts first time, no smoke.
Body is in great shape, no rust or dents although it is a couple of different shade of blue if you look close.
The car is definitely old school but I guess I am too...
I've removed the old bee hive oil cooler for a gsl-se fmoc and redid some gsl-se seats with a Racing Beat upholstery kit and upgraded the sound system. New urethane front bushings tightened up the front end.
Next will be a gsl rear end that I have lined up as this winters project.
Cheers and thanks for dropn' in.
