hey guys,
my name is Kory, alias is Bob, just bought my first mazda, 1993 Rx7, red, automatic, 110k miles.. car currently doesn't run but i bought it as my new project car, so i'm excited to get my hands dirty!!
Glad to be a member here, seems like a respectful and reputable forum, so far, good to see bashing and sh*t talking kept to a minimum.. i'm going to start a build thread to hear member's opinions and show my progress!!
thanks guys!!

well guys, after a long time setting, and waiting on closing date to come on my new house, i finally decided to troubleshoot the rx7.. i was trying to hold off until i could get closed and moved in so i could put it in the new garage but i got antsy!
i bought the car under the impression that the apex seals were probably gone, the owner i bought it off of thought the same, well after not touching the car since i bought it (march), i finally decided to do a compression test..PASSED with flying colors! well, i didn't stop there, pulled the plugs blew the old gas out of the rotary, added a little ATF and she CAME TO LIFE! flooded..for 2 years! that was it..now time for a tune up, new fuel, and take it for a spin! Needles to say i feel pretty lucky today!!
