New member from Subaru land, also NY..
Hey Folks. Name is Aaron and I am from Western NY. Currently have a 2006 Subaru STI with quite a bit of work into it. I am working to sell it and looking into an LS swapped FD. The Subaru has been fun for the last 10 years, but I think it may be time to move on to a new project.
Ill mostly be browsing, researching and checking out the FS ads and learning along the way. I have been on Norotors for a week or 2 and decided to expand my search a bit and this forum seems helpful for answering my questions.
Here are a few pics of my current car. Currently makes 437whp on a built motor with a GTX30r on pump 93

How'd you like the switch from an STI to the RX7?

Yes! I had a brain lapse and couldnt think of your full name. Jeeze, it's been a while!
I went to a 335i after the STI, and now the FD is the project car. Its certainly not without its challenges. I cant comment on the engine as you want an LS powered one (mine is still rotary), but the interior and the plastics... man you need to open up some extra patience in your mind as 23 year old plastics sure are brittle!
GLWS on the STI man, I'm sure it'll fetch a good amount.

Thanks for the info. Already settled on a price/offer from someone local. I just need my injectors back and it will be gone!
Good seeing a familiar name around!

Changing up a bit. I have ridden in 3 v8 cars from a stock ls1 to a 550whp na ls3. While the torque is impressive and response is like an on/off switch, I'm not a real fan.
That said, I am looking to do a 1jz swap. Car I am buying is a runner, but needs the turbos rebuilt or new ones. I plan to pull it out and sell as is and get started. Still lots to learn.
