Hi everyone.

I’ve just signed up and having been an admirer of a good friends RX7 RS-R for many years he is wanting to move it on. It’s a series 7 RS-R. 500 were produced in 2 colours (yellow and black) at the end of the series IV production run along with celebrating 30 years of rotary engineering. The car is black and has about 70k on it and is a yellow import meaning it came over with its original owner. He purchased in around 2003 and has owned it since. It’s a 1998 model. Interior is in good condition and mechanically it’s in A1 condition and unmodified except for wheels, series 8 rear wing and suspension but he has the originals. Paint isn’t in good condition so will need a respirator at some point. He said he’d sell it to me for AUD20k and I’m seriously considering buying it. As he’s a long time good friend so I trust him completely.

Im wondering if anyone else in Australia owns this model?

It isn’t a very well known model. What do people think about it’s collectability...?
