Hi Guys,

Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself.
I've always wanted a FD since I was young and finally decided to make the jump.
I recently picked up a '93 MB FD auto in great condition and am slowly planning my build for the car.

The only things i've done are basic new car fluids maintenance.

I'm currently focused on looking into swapping a 6 speed in and am considering either Careless's JK40 swap kit (if he will do another run) or Granna's T56 Magnum F kit (not sure if he listed it, but he has a magnum F kit for the fd available that fits the stock fd shifter position perfectly).

I look forward to lots more reading and hopefully some contributing.

P.S. - please recommend good rotary resources in the Greater Seattle Area!

Greetings friend! Happy to know another FD is rolling around Washington. Just out of curiosity, why the urge to swap the gearbox? 5 speed not cutting it in some way?

Whoops! Now I see. "Auto". I should learn to read the whole darn thing. Well good luck, I'd be interested in hearing how that turns out!

I'm on the south border of Everett. Let me know if you ever need a hand or a wrench!

Tried to use the Upload feature. I think maybe the images may be too big to upload. Here is a link to an imgur album.https://imgur.com/a/9wGgHxJ

maybe we'll make drunken eyes a thing?

epoxy

cover broke due to stress from flapping on the highway

self explanatory

bolt on the up/down motor arm got loose. Headlight was flapping on the highway. Had to use something, anything to keep it down.

again, self explanatory.
