My name is Todd Spencer. I won my ebay auction for a 1981 GSL today. I'm picking it up tomorrow. I've been browsing the forum for a few days now, and I'm amazed at the amount of information I have available.

The car has been street ported and has a Racing Beat header and exhaust. It needs a little work.

I've been wanting a car to do some tinkering on, but I never imagined it would have a rotary. Thankfully, there is a gentleman I go to church with that has owned 4 RX-7's in the past.

I look forward to getting to know the members of this forum, amybe even meeting some at an event.

Thanks

Well, alright, Todd. I've seen a lot of new members joining over the past 2 years since we started this moderation approval process for folk wanting to join and this is the first time I've read of someone winning an eBay auction for a 1stgen.

Thanks for registering and welcome aboard! It always warms my heart to see more 1stgen folk joining. Y'all, I can help!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll be leaving in a few minutes to get my "new" car. It's a shame DMV isn't open on Saturdays.

It definitely needs tires. I'd like to get some wheels, as well, but I'm not seeing much in a 4x110.

Anyway, I'm excited about the RX-7!

Yep, that 4 x 110 mm bolt pattern is def a Cross to bear when you want good looking rims for your RX-7. Check out the 1stgen tech section and input "wheel choices" into the search engine. There's got to be at least three HUGE threads that show all the things that are out there right now in that crazy 4 X 110 pattern.
