Howdy everyone! I was gifted my RX7 from my grandfather a few days ago because for years all it did was sit in his barn. The past few days I’ve been slowly getting it to the point to run. So far I’ve replaced the spark plug, battery, a few fuses, and I’m about to replace an ignition coil because we found out the leading coil went out. My grandfather told me that the last time he drove it that it had a tough time with hot starts, if anyone has any possible reasons why this could be I would be very appreciative to know. Thank you!
This along with the next image is after I cleaned it
Some beautiful Louvers
Here’s all that’s in the engine bay and what I’m workin with

Welcome to the forum!!! That car is definitely an amazing restoration candidate!!! How's the interior? I really like the target band on the car as well. Those were neat accessories. What's the car's color code? Its a two digit code and can be found on the vin plate on the firewall.
