Hello heroes of the world keeping rotary cars the legends they are, and making them more!
just posting to learn how this site all works.. hope I'm in the right spot here.
I have been on this site almost exactly 10 years now (since buying my first good car) and figured its time to start chiming in and possibly helping others out since i can probably quote some sections from here post per post haha
I have had 2 first gens (first one got t boned twice, once on each side front quarters) second one has all my time and money in it. still need to do suspension tho!
Thank you much!
I've had this one about 5 years now. bought it with an auto trans and found out swapping to manual is not as easy as it should be.. thankfully I kept my first one that got wrecked and used all the standard parts.
Welcome, interesting color, looks really shape and this might be the first one I've seen in this color.
Ocean Blue Metallic was produced in 1985 only. It was a regional color and was not as readily available throughout the model year as other colors were. When I first saw the color on another member's car back in 2004, I knew I had to have one. It took me four years to find a decent one and I still have the car today.
Wow I had no idea the color was so rare! too bad its not the original paint on mine.
my first was a misty blue i believe but i thought i read montego blue on it somewhere.. only reason im saying this is cause i thought it was cool that my dad has a 68 (or so) mercury montego and the 2 colors were almost identical!
think im wrong about the colors though.
