Hi guys

My name is Warrick I'm originally from the UK but moved to Canada 7 years ago. I live in Kelowna but am currently away working. Eight months ago I bought a 1980 rx7 at 124xxxkm. I'm looking to restore it to near new condition with little to no mods, however engine parts seem somewhat impossible to come by so I am considering a swap if parts are easier to obtain. my local area lacks a community where help and knowledge are readily available so it seemed my next step was to join a thriving and interactive community and so I chose you.

can't wait to get started.

Welcome man! You can always join westcoastrotary.com as well, that's where the locals go. It's not the most active forum but can get you in touch with people who have parts/ when meets are, that sort of thing. Post up some pictures, looking forward to seeing it.

Cool car, love the gold pin stripe! Black and gold is probably my favourite classic scheme! If you can PM me with a list of parts you're after I'm going to be dropping the whole suspension and drivetrain out of my '84 GSL with rear discs, bigger axles and LSD. I'd rather see it used than binned.

That is rather unique. I've never seen the striping like that anyways, very cool. That ghetto hoist cracks me up, gotta be resourceful haha.
