GA New Member and new to RX7

Hello,

Bought a 1979 RX7 yesterday. One owner.

Lady bought it new in '79. Drove it till the mid '80s. Engine blew at 46K. Car sat under carport till '98. Husband decided to restore it so he towed it to Mazda and had the engine rebuilt. Put another 2K on the car. The man got sick and died in '99. The car stayed parked under the carport till now. Put new tires on it, a new battery, 2 fuel filters (to catch the rust in the tank), 2 gals of gas and a can of seafoam. The lady could not find the key so the car is wired with a push button and a toggle switch. Drove the car home and ready to get started on the refurb. First thing is to rebuild the carb I think. The car spits and sputters when starting off but runs strong at 2000 RPMs and up. Any advice before I get started here? I would love to hear from you guys because I know nothing about a rotary engine or an RX7.

Got only one picture so far.

Welcome to the best site ever bro. I'd just upgrade the whole carb setup (my opinion anyways )
