New member need a new RX-7
Hi All, new member here. Joined because I figured forums are the best way to find a good RX7. I previously owned a '93, but sold it due to a new job and moving across the country. Now 6 years later its time to find another one. A little back ground I used to work for Freedom Autosport Mazda's factory GrandAm team. We build and ran MX-5, Mazdaspeed 3, and RX-8s. Nice to meet you all.
Welcome! An impressive background for sure! I think the forum is the best place to find a well sorted example and you're less likely to get screwed on a car here. I have had nothing but good experiences buying cars here, though as always, I do look each car over thoroughly.

I got the car for 7500 as a barn find. The previous owner thought there was something terribly wrong but the intercooler rubber joint was just rotted. $5 fix. Sold the car some years later for 13500 when moving because I had 75k miles and the oil leaks were just starting. I should have just rebuilt the engine ... its not like I don't know how ... live and learn.Right now I have a '07 S2000 which is STR Prepped for autocross, '16 MX-5 being STR prepped (the wife's toy), a 2011 Evo X MR, and our tow vehicle a 2008 beat up FJ Cruiser. Its time to get back into rotaries so we will probably sell the Evo and get an RX7 if we can find one.
