New member here

So I am new member, been stalking the forum for a while now. My parents bought a 1988 10th Anniversary RX7 brand new. I remember being with my dad when he looked at it at the dealer. We have had the car ever since. The great news is that it only has just over 53k on the odometer. The bad news is it has been sitting over 10 years, luckily stored I side. I just got it to my new home and pulled the fuel pump. The gas is nasty and the pump and level sensor don't work. I did get a complete assembly ordered today and hopefully will get it in in the next week or so. My plan is to keep the car stock since it has such low miles. There are a few items that need addressed but nothing too bad. My biggest concern is replacing the one missing anniversary badge and finding the correct window for the passenger door.

Cool car! Sounds like it should be lots of fun once you have it back up and running.

That's a great starting point! Good luck with getting it started and running.

Welcome to the forum!! I started a 10AE registry here on the forum in the 2nd Gen section and have been keeping track of the car's since 2006. Would be great to have you rear added to the list! Do you have any of the original paperwork from he car or the original window sticker? Any paint peeling? The fender badge can be found. I can put you in touch with a guy that should have one if you would like.

I added my vin to the list this morning. I do have some of the original paperwork,, not sure what all is in the folder. I do have the bra, car cover, pillow and my dad bought the Mazda factory service manual. Glad I have that. There are a few little things I need for the car. The two most important right now are the missing badge and seats recovered. Also, the Mazda sticker for the front bumper. I would be interested in talking with the guy that may have a badge. Is there anyone that knows of any good seat cover kits before I go to an interior shop to have them made?

I saw in my registry thread that you recovered the missing emblem. You have all of the ultra rare accessories! Can't wait to see more pictures of the car! It sounds absolutely incredible!
