Just joined the forum few months ago because I bought a 1985 Rx-7 FC GXL in june 2022 ! So here I am presenting myself :
My name is Jean-Baptiste from France ! I'm 24 and my first car is a 1998 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 5 GSR. Here she is :
And about the FC :
The car is from Canada, arrived in 1998 in Belgium and stayed there until June.
The car hasn't been running since 10 years but started like she's just been out of the factory !
Came with the car : Turbo wheels / Turbo hood and a huge wing (like a Cosworth wing) but the wing isn't installed.

I just changed the wheels for Advan Road Battler with center lock style caps (not installed in the picture) in 17x7.5 with 215/45 tires. That's the only modification done to that day.
The goal is to do a Wangan Midnight style car :
So that's why I chose those wheels : they were close to the BBS LM that's in the anime, without paying the price and I really crushed on the Advans I got.
Next step is getting the front Bumper ! Thanks to the forum I was able to find which bumper I need ! But I saw someone made one on the forum ! i'll be trying to replicate his work.
About the rest : i'm looking for Ganadors replica ( I'm not going to pay 900€ for those srsly...) and about the back i'll be doing a custom setup, i'll be keeping the lights like this (no japanese lights) and i'll be installing the Wing I already have. And put a white covering.
About the rest, i'll be trying to focus on the chassis and keep the car with it's NA Engine but boost it a little bit. I'm still learning on those parts so that's why I can't detail a lot ^^'
And that's why i'm here : I wanna learn about the car and everything around it to build up my project !
