I see you've been around for a few years. I would definitely love to see pictures of your RX-7! Maybe start a thread in the 1st Gen section reference the search covers and add pictures of the process. I think a lot of guys would love to see it done and it would motivate them!

I have just finished Re-Upholstering New Seat Covers from Racing Beat on my 1982 Mazda RX7 GS.
The cost was $500 USD and DIY Assembly was about 6 hours . The Learning Curve is on the 1st Seat.

I have attached a few Pics and Dis-Assembly Instructions. Between the Dis -Assembly Instructions , Labelling Parts and taking Lots of Pics the Assembly process was much easier

Thumbs up Seat Material Leather vs Vinyl?

The Racing Beat Kit looks very nice. I am considering the Cowhide Leather Kit from "Lseat.com". Does anyone have experience with that supplier? Less money for leather seats. Mine is also the high-back 1982 RX7 seats. Originally a dark brown outer, and a tan inner.
