Hi everyone, always wanted an FC and finally got one last month :0

1986 NA, 65k miles, I hope to fix it up nice and run it forever !

Cold starts take a few tries but it runs strong afterwards. A little scared about when it gets colder (street parking in NYC ) but we'll see.

It came with a bad respray paintjob, parking brake needed fixing, horn doesn't work, dash lights stopped working (made a post for that: https://tinyurl.com/y4o77re5), but I still love it and working hard to make things right.

Hoping to find an RX7 specialist shop in the area eventually, but for so far so good for now.

Looking forward to being part of the community

Welcome to the forum! Would love to see pictures of the car. Do you know any of the car's history?

Thanks !

(HID added by previous owner)

(Apexi straight pipe added by previous owner, active silencer added by me)

(excuse the cigarette smoke lol but you can see the messed up paint here and in the next image)

Not really sure about the history, it was in a lot and seemed like it was moved around a few times between dealers before I found it.

Interior is surprisingly clean though, gray leather, original steering wheel, back seats intact, driver seat bolster has minimal tearing.

Thank you, that's assuring to hear - I hope I can work out the little electrical problems soon and sort out the exterior, but other than that it really runs great.
