New to me 1983 RX7 FB

Hello RX7Club .

Greetings from Croatia , just wanted to say hi , and show my currently in sad state 1983 FB . Contrary to the picture , its actually in decent shape (ish) . Plan is to make it a 4-5 year project , and unless something drastic changes , id like to keep the 12A engine in it .

Iv recently sent inquiries to a few rotary shops in the EU , since sadly both rotor housings have the plating cracked near the bottom , and the e-shaft seems to have some light scratches on rotor #2 .

Anyways , let the wrenching begin

Welcome to the forum!! What color was the car originally? It can be restored and enjoyed once again. It appears to be straight and I don't see a ton of rust in the pictures. Do you know any of the car's history? Would love to see more pictures of the car!

In the cars paperwork it states "black" . History as far as im told is that it has 211k km on the clock , and it was driven till 2008 according to some stickers on the interior ( local club meet dated 2008) . It is indeed straight and there is actually no rust on it , maybe in a few spots , nothing dramatic . More pictures soon , as i have to give it a thorough check over and possibly a clean ( start a build thread ) . Tho im more worried about the engine , since i opened it up about 2 days ago , and it seems both rotor housings are chipped near the bottom , and have pitting near the exhaust port .

there's a metal plate under the hood on the firewall that has the paint code.

a google search found rotorywiki:

Paint and all that isnt really an issue for me at the moment , maybe at a later date . Now so i dont clutter the thread much , where would be the best place to ask for rotary rebuild shops in EU ? I did a bit of searching and didnt really end up with anything concrete ...
