IL New kid on the forum from the Chi

Hello my name is Greg, I live in the suburbs of Chicago. I recently purchased a second Rx7 this time a convertible, bc my old one died a horrible death on the chicago streets. I am new to this forum, i was never on here before someone recomended it for me .
I got a couple other cars
1990 Subaru Legacy
1992 Honda Civic Vx
2004 Subaru Wrx
My Fc is currently hiding from the winter weather, and i am piecing together a turbo swap for it. I am hoping to get working on it soon, im going to convert it into a drift car, but I am far from it right now. I will get some pictures of my 7 when the snow melts in the spring to show you what i got myself into. LOL

The old coupe found its way on to a chicago street, near archer and pulaski if the locals know where that is they know whats up. Long story short it was parked there for sevral hours and upon me returning i noticed flashing lights and soon found out that my car was not parked where I left it. Some wonderful young lady decided it was a good idea to pretend she was in a monster truck and plowed into my 7. At first i thought my car was on a flat bed or something because I did not see it, but as I spotted the tow truck it seemed very far. My car was smashed on the left rear quarter and launched about 50 feet into someones front yard. From the looks of it there were no skid marks from brakes so my guess is the bitc** fell asleep driving. Car was past the point of salvagable, to the point where I couldnt pry open the hood . Sad sad sad day for me , but i got a check from insurance and started hunting for something new, and here i am.

Wow! Something similar happened to my brothers crx. Some little teenage girl decided to steal her daddy's expedition and used my brothers car as a vert ramp into our front yard!

I can't know the feeling you must of had when you saw your car like that - I can only imagine. Welcome aboard and It's fortunate you weren't in the car when the dumbass decided to count sheep behind the wheel.
