New here/Interested in learning

Hi im Chris and im 23 from upstate NY. I drive a 05 Evo VIII which im pretty bored with right now. Not sure what I wanna do. My friend has a supra and my other friend just got a RX7. I dont think he plans to do a whole lot to it not really sure tho but ive ridden in it a few times and its a really fun car to ride in. I am pretty much gunna sell my evo and I am looking to get into something different. Rx7's have peaked my interest lately. Particulary the 2jz supra swap and the fact that there is a company that makes a kit and necessary components and it doesnt seem to cost much more than all the work I had done to my evo. The company that does this is located in CA tho..Is there any place around where I live or even that I could drive to thats a couple of hours away that if I did go the RX7 route I could get the swap kit and necessary components and have someone install and tune everything?

I am pretty much looking to make my next car a really badass street car that I dont have to be a millionaire to get and that will kill a lot of other cars out there and occasionally can take to the drag strip(occasionally meaning once or twice a year) lol. This car and this project seem somewhat affordable. Not sure who finances these but thats another battle.

I am going to try to avoid asking repeat dumb questions and ill just try to search and navigate my way around the site and try to find what I need. These are just some of my main concerns that would determine whether I even get a car like this or not.

Well ill see you guys around, I hope to learn a lot more about this car and about this swap.

Now time to go find out what FD means lol.

It depends. Do you have to pay cash on these or can you finance them?

If I cant finance them I might get a C5 z06 or a C6 z06 and twin turbo it or SC it. Its not the price that gets me it would just take forever to save up 25-30k in cash for one of these
