FL new here from florida

hello my name is Ron and im in the Orlando area i just purchased a 1988 RX7 Convertible with 121,000 miles in near mint condition for $1180, i am very pleased with it so far and am excited to learn and work on the rotary engine. i will post pictures in this thread if that is permissable, the guy sold it because it is lagging and a mechanic told him it was an injector, which from my understanding the 88 injectors are problematic aside from the fact that they have a different clip than any other yea anyways i replaced the spark plugs and it made a big difference but i still am going to replace the injectors, im not posting on here for trouble shooting just explaining the purchase, i will be posting in the technical section with my symptoms, i cant wait to become a contributing member of this board, and thank you all in advance for your warm welcome.

'Thanks
Ron'

im very new to rotarys, but i actually bought injectors from a guy at a rotary meet idk how often they are but the guys there were very welcoming and proactive about helping others that want to and are interested in RX7s, once i find out the frequency of these meets i will let you know, it would be nice to meet more and more people in the community

I'm new too and live in Orlando. My buddy's pretty well rounded with RX7's. He went through 2 rotaries and said the hell with it and dropped an LS1 in it. Long story short he let a friend drive it and flipped it and now he's putting it in another FD shell. Good luck!

OR florida

there seems to be lots of Floridians. Is it because the weather is so nice? Wet and cold here in Oregon but still get out to spin the block whe weather permits.
