AL New here, Drift Enthusiast.

Hey everybody. My name's Harrison, i'm 17, i live in Alabama and i'm a fairly big drift enthusiast. I'm not a drifter yet, thus is why i'm wanting a rx-7. I currently own a 1992 Acura integra, that at this time, i am less than one week of completing my first engine swap(b20b less than 30k on the motor) and i also have a 1988 mercedes-benz 300e. My plan is, after i'm done with my integra is im going to sell my mercedes and buy a fc and make it my drifter. My favorite car in the whole world is a 1984 Porsche 944. low standards.. i know. i was planning on actually getting one. i found one that i'd have to rebuild for $800, but it was not going to work out for me. too much money to put into it, so its going to be a future life project. this is my 2nd forum to join, i also am on drift.com alot, and i have a fellow friend on there that is also on here, K!nch. He's the one that had introduced me into the rx-7 actually; which was quite a time ago now. The rx-7 is one of my favorite cars now, ever since i figured out exactly how they work, well i just fell in love with that triangle you know? well im really hoping to get one sometime soon.Im not your casual drifter who trashes their cars. If i get one im going to do everything the RIGHT WAY! so i am here to learn what i am needed to know, for the future. i hope that this hasnt been boring, and thanks for letting me introduce myself to this forum.

Well now, I know I'm going to get a beating for saying this, but I've always thought the 2ndgen rexes looked a whole bunch like the Porsche 944! Hands down, it's going to be cheaper to fix up and drift the RX-7, so choice well made!

Welcome aboard, Harrison, that was a fantastic intro post.

yea.. they have a track here but its an oval track and have heard its kinda a pain, because of the banked turns . ( its a circle track with a figure 8 layout build in to it) kilkare.. they have some events out there but.. personally not enought variables for me.. i like it complicated and where things can change in a matter of seconds.. n yes i know the dangers of it. but to each its own right? haha but tracks are fun every now n then... n im picking up my fc tomorrow =D
