TN New Here

Long time fan of Rotaries, and most specifically FB and FCs

I finally got my hands on an FB, that has already had a lot of stuff done already as far as making it a track focused car. I've been kinda lurking around for a bit though.

I live in Memphis, I'm a tech by trade and work on VWs. I love my VWs and have loved Rx7s for as long as I can remember. Hope to learn a lot.

Welcome to the forum! I'm also a fan of Volkswagens, especially the Scirocco and the Corrado. Had an 04 Jetts with a 1.8 and 5spd and it was a fantastic car! Would love to see pictures of your RX-7!

I bought it from a nice guy down in AL, but I understand it came from somewhere in MO before this.. I understand both of those members either used to be, or still are members here.

The car looks like a great starting point! Are you planning on keeping it a track car?

Yes I do plan on keeping the car track focused. I tried restoring a vehicle once, and it wasn't for me, I'd much rather go out and enjoy something and not feel bad about breaking something rare.

I think that's a good plan. It would take quite a bit to bring it back and it wouldn't be half as fun around a track. Would be cool to see a build thread on the car in the 1st Gen section!
