I am new to the forums and new to the Rotary Passion. My boy purchased his first car which is the '04 RX-8 It has 140,000 miles. We are doing a new re-manufactured Renesis engine and have done some stuff like suspension and intake. Car still runs but the engine is tired and think one of the coolant seals is leaking.
So since I helped him find that car I decided to go and get a '93 JDM RHD 7 It is in awesome condition and runs strong. It has 140,000 KM which works out to about 77K miles
We love the platform and plan on doing quite a bit to them. We are working with DNA Garage out here in Santa Ana to do the engine bits.

Since we are new we will have a ton of questions. I want to make more power with my FD and for my boys car I want to keep him safe and reliable.
RX-7 Club looks like an amazing resource.
Some future mods I want to do to my FD is a Big Brake Kit and full coiler suspension. I am also in the process of converting the car from R12 to R134A. Unfortunately the Compressor is shot and need to get a/c in the FD. It will mostly be used as a cruiser. I may track it here and there but that is not my primary focus.
Are there any meets in the 818 or San Fernando Valley area?
