New guy from Texas
Hey yall I am new here, just bought a 87 GXL rolling shell. I have been outta the car game for a decade so figured what better way to start than with a ground up build. First plans are maintenance related things, currently replacing wheel bearings, brakes, interior pieces. The goal is to have a turbo LS in it by the end of the year. I bought this from a guy here in Texas that had big plans for the car, so the whole underside has been sealed up and coated, repainted engine bay, stitch welded body, completely stripped interior except for a S14 dash a roll cage and a fuel cell. I have already spent many hours researching on this forum, hopefully someday I can contribute.

Thanks for the welcome fellas. I swear I am gonna clean this car and make it look more respectable for the street, purple aint my thing. Maybe LS swapped rx7's aren't too popular here, but I have always loved/wanted an FC ever since the 90s. I remember seeing the white fc with white wheels, thought those were the coolest things ever.

Thank you!! Generally people that are not sure what it is seem to like the car and those that know what it is like the car as well. I took a kid from work for a ride in the car a couple months back and now he's hooked on RX-7's. Its not terribly fast but its an enjoyable car to drive.
