Good morning to everyone from here in Oklahoma!!
I am looking to buy a RX7 around December or the beginning of 2025.
1st or 2nd gen. Would entertain a 3rd gen for if the price is right but those are a bit out of my budget. I actually would prefer an un molested 1st gen. If a 2nd gen don’t want a convertible a would be cautious of a turbo.
With all of that said, where would be a good place to begin my search? I have started looking just to see what is out there but all of the websites I have seen so far post outrageous prices!

The prices of these cars have become outrageous in the last few years. This is the direction of the market.
Try browsing Facebook marketplace to get some ideas of what comes up for sale.

 

Yeah it’s crazy. I’m seeing 1st gens in good condition upwards of 30k! No way that can be real!!

Welcome to the forum. Ten years ago you could easily find nice 3rd gens for 10-20k. I just did a search to see what's out there. 37k is the cheapest third Gen on autotrader. 1 and 2g's look more reasonable though. Good luck.

 

I found my 1990 RX-7 convertible on Craigslist back in 2016. At that time, I found a lot of what seemed to be well-pampered cars in various areas around the country.
