New RX-7 FD, any advice on a long trip ahead?

Hi,

My first post got deleted so I guess I need to introduce myself first. I have a late 2001 RX-7 Type RS with whom I'll be making a long trip next week (1500km/950 miles at 120kmh/80mph highway), I could use some tips and advices on what to look after.

The car is freshly serviced, with new oil and oil filter, it has less than 50k km, all stock besides suspension and exhaust.

I'll bring with me oil and coolant. Anything else? What should I do while filling up the tank besides popping the hood to cool down the engine? I don't premix.

Thank you!

I see you've been on the forum for some time. I would recommend posting this in the 3rd gen tech section. I think you would get more responses there, as this is mainly an intros section.
