[QUOTE=FrankV702;8587113]Ah, it is a 15a.. Sorry. It's in the fuse panel next to your left foot on the drivers side.

I had a no spark issue too before my injector issue. I replace my ecu with a different one and i got full spark.

Your headlights are wired on the front harness. Your car has 4 main harnesses a front, engine, dash and rear and they all hook into each other in some way or another.

Yes, that does answer my question... thoroughly

I beg to differ... America is already in this state. I have visited a few less-fortunate countries (Trinidad, Tobago, and Costa Rica), not as a tourist in a resort hotel but actually as a guest of friends who are from these countries, stayed in their homes and hung as the locals. I was truly amazed at the intelligence of not some, but everyone that I interacted with during my week-long visits. The only thing I could think of was if these people had an equal chance to come and make a life in the "Land of Opportunity" there would be so many lazy dumb-asses put out of work and into the trash where they were spawn. When someone makes $485 a week (Trinidad currency) and a KFC 3 piece dinner is $47 (there was one on nearly every street corner), it makes me wonder why anyone here in US complains.

RWD was a must. Small, because I'm *really* short. Quick, with loads character. 80s Japanese sportscars have a sort of allure to them. I wanted something turboed, but I was okay with naturally aspirated as long as it made some power.

So between the choice of a 300ZX, a 240SX, a 200SX or an RX-7...?

I picked the RX-7, obviously, and this is the one I found for the price I was looking for. Of course, she came with issues, with problems. But in the end, I really do love this car, and I'm determined to have her working before the year's out.
Well, good luck. You seem to have a strong grasp on what your goal is and what you plan to take from this experience.

Also check your 40amp Injector fuse by the driver side front shock as when this is bad you will not get fuel or spark.

You're not the only one that bought a car that doesn't run lol. I bought my 7 with blown apex seals. I figured a fresh motor would be wise anyway. But good luck with that fuel/spark issue!

Ugh. All fuses are good and receiving power.

I pulled the ECU today - gonna see if it's getting power when it gets less stupid-hot outside. :\

I'm covered in insulation dust and it is gross. XD </girl>

Okay, I'm good. XD

:P There's that, but how many of these are actual greet-posts instead of answers to my questions? Lawrd.

Anyway! I think I've found the problem, or part of it. ^_^ Electrical schematics are brilliant! [Hush, I'm new to all of this.]

Also, my car is GXL. Neato.

true enough, however, men are always more willing to help a female, if a guy saw another man on fire, and a women whos cat was in a tree, he would run to get a ladder.

i took about the same route as you, picked up a neglected 88 s/e and have since gone through the entire thing, replaced fenders, hood, headlight assembly, bumper, 5lug swap, TII diff swap, aftermarket suspension, wiring harness, relocated 3rd gen alternator, brakes all around, removed emssions, full exhaust, intake, intake manifolds, tranny, clutch, slave cylinder, u name it. my rx was my learning vehicle also, before this id done about as much as my own oil change. with help form some mechanically inclined friends (the same enthusiasts which got me into rx7's in the first place) ive been throiugh my entire car know it inside and out and wouldnt have done it any other way, now im the one helping my friends on their cars. not to mention im getting another one, good luck and enjoy!

Hi everyone! Kurt's informed me that my car is a GXL.

Now I can lord my LSD over my brother's AE '84 300ZX. [He stripped 3rd gear out of his transmission Friday at the track. Poor guy.]
