New to the forum wanted to say hello !
Got an 88 rx7 fc gxl and me and my dad bought 9 years ago for 200$ .did a handful of odd things when parked ,i was in collage and broke so i parked her and bought a honda , I’m not rich now by any means but i am working and i am looking forward to maybe starting her up and if things go “okay” i will be driving her to work on fridays lol but i know i got my hand full with these rotarys .

This is her.9 years later we are back at it.hopefully she drives more then a mile.ive heard alot of what to do when a rotary has not ran in a while.but it will be a fun journey and will love if you guys help me through the tuff times lol.

The car looks to be in great shape and the wheels also look very nice on the car! Usually with fresh fuel and a clean and properly working fuel system, these cars will come right back to life. You will run into maintenance items and small repairs that need addressed, but once you're finished, the car will give many years of reliable service!

Coolant was mad dirty .going to pull the block plug below spark plugs and flush her out along with a new thermostat thinking of a new water pump and new radiato(koyo) but not sure if i will be able to use all the o.e brackets and shrouds.any thoughts ???

Thus far though, you're doing all of the right things to get the car back on he road. To be brief, remember to use a Mazda thermostat. The Koyo radiator is a good choice and they do make direct replacement aluminum radiators for the FC.
